The MacBook Pro “Core i7” 2.3 13-Inch (2020, Scissor Keyboard, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports) technically is a “configure-to-order” configuration of the MacBook Pro “Core i5” 2.0 13-Inch (2020, Scissor Keyboard, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports), but also is documented as a separate model for reader convenience. Other than processor (and the corresponding L2 cache), these two models are identical.

The MacBook Pro “Core i7” 2.3 13-Inch (2020, Scissor Keyboard, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports) is powered by a 10-nm, 10th Generation “Ice Lake” 2.3 GHz Intel “Core i7” processor (I7-1068NG7), with four independent processor “cores” on a single silicon chip and a shared 8 MB level 3 cache. This notebook also packs 16 GB of onboard 3733 MHz LPDDR4X SDRAM, a default 512 GB, and an integrated Intel Iris Plus graphics processor that shares system memory.

Externally, this notebook has an integrated 720p FaceTime HD webcam, a “new Magic Keyboard” with a “redesigned scissor mechanism… including 4 arrow keys in an inverted-T arrangement” as well as a customized “Touch Bar” with a separate esc key and a separate “Touch ID” sensor, and a gigantic “Force Touch” trackpad.
