These MacBooks are in good condition, there are a few Light marks on the case and maybe a small dent but nothing bad. This is from our Standard Affordable Mac refurbished range. This model has a slightly loose hinge.  It does not mean the screen does not stay in place however there is a slight give in the screen and the hinges are slightly losse.  It does not affectthe working of the machine and we sell them cheaper.  So you get a good machine a bit cheaper.  The screen has some light marks on it.  It is not noticeable when on and does not affect your viewing

Minor fualt has a loose hinge. The loose hinge still works ok and is just a very minor fualt if you are not happy with the item yhou can return for a full refund within 14 Days

The MacBook “Core i5” 1.3 12-Inch (Mid-2017) features a 14-nm 1.3 GHz Intel “Core i5” Kaby Lake processor (I5-7Y54) with two independent processor “cores” on a single chip, a 4 MB level 3 cache, an “integrated” Intel HD Graphics 615 graphics processor that shares system memory, 8 GB of onboard 1866 MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM, and 256GB of onboard flash storage (that cannot be upgraded).

This all is housed in a wafer thin (0.14-0.52 inch), 2.03 pound, aluminum case offered in Silver, a darker “Space Gray,” Gold, and a pink-tinted “Rose Gold” color options (Gold option changed to a warmer shade and “Rose Gold” discontinued October 30, 2018). It has a low-resolution 480p FaceTime webcam, a backlit full-size keyboard with a thin “butterfly mechanism” keyboard design, a “Force Touch” trackpad, and a beautiful 12″ TFT LED-backlit active-matrix “Retina” display (2304×1440 native resolution at 226 ppi).

Compared to its predecessor, it is quite similar, but has a more advanced processor and graphics processor, faster storage, reportedly better battery life, and a refined keyboard.

Each core has a dedicated 256k level 2 cache, shares 4 MB of level 3 cache, and has an integrated memory controller (dual channel).

This system also supports “Turbo Boost 2.0” — which “automatically increases the speed of the active cores” to improve performance when needed (up to 3.2 GHz for this model) — and “Hyper Threading” — which allows the system to recognize four total “cores” or “threads” (two real and two virtual).
